Rapid River is working in the Mobiart –project, which aims to create a community of content providers, media and technology companies, where there would be created content and services for mobile technology users in the international market.

During the course of the project there have been developed small visual presentations on Oulu for the Nokia S60 mobile terminal. The programmes will be used for marketing purposes of the products and services that the municipalities and businesses in the region have to offer. Furthermore, the technical possibilities of presentation of multimedia messages have been clarified.

In the future the aim is at developing products and services that make possible the viewing of multimedia presentations in a multi-channel environment. In practice, the same service could be available via the Web, a mobile phone and digital television. Rapid River will specialize in producing visual presentations for international use in the mobile environment.
