The Department of Press and Culture of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign affairs have circulated ten copies of the exhibition “Light in The Wilderness” around the world since the year 2000. The exhibition is the largest photo exhibition ever on the topic of Finnish nature.
The exhibitions have been viewed by millions of people on every continent. They have been situated in stately public spaces, bank showrooms, libraries, galleries and cultural centers. They have been exhibited also at fairs and events and at visits of Finland’s President Tarja Halonen. The publicity in media has therefore been significant.
