This illustrated book is a collection by decision-makers from the region of Northern Ostrobothnia, who share their
stories and experiences on nature. The book was ordered by a foundation working for the benefit of health care in
Northern Finland, who use the profits for research of children’s diseases.
The text is opened by county governor Eino Siuruainen. Other writers are the rector of University of Oulu, Lauri Lajunen,
